City Gate Condo will have some pretty nice views, even from relatively low floors. South-west towards the city, it overlooks the low-rise conservation area of Kampong Glam.
Southwards, it looks out towards Kallang Basin and the sea beyond that. South-eastwards is the Kallang River and Singapore Sports Hub.

THE ANTARES SHOWFLAT
If city fringe and conveniently located projects appeal to you, you might want to consider the Antares condo. Like City Gates, this project is very close to an MRT station, in this case the Mattar Station on the Downtown line. Door to door, it takes less than 2 minutes to walk over.
However, the Antares condo is slightly further out from the city centre than City Gates. But since City Gates has already sold out, you can look at projects like this, if your budget is in the $1,7xx PSF range or so.
What the Antares enjoys over City Gates is the fact that it is almost on the doorstep of two primary schools, which should appeal to parents of school-going children. The Canossa Convent Primary School is two doors away along Salim Road, while the MacPherson Primary School is about 100 metres down Mattar Road.
The Antares showflat is not ready to open its doors yet, but nevertheless sign up in order to be kept updated when details and launch schedules are available.
