Now that CityGate has completely sold out, what is next on the horizon? Quite a number projects actually. The latest upcoming one will be the Amo Residence condo. This is however, a completely different type of project, and in a completely different location.

For a start, the Amo Residence is a purely private residential development. There is no commercial component to it, unlike for CityGate. However it does boast of close walking distance to an MRT station, the Mayflower station on the Downtown Line.

The other major difference lies in the location. While CityGate is within the central area, on the fringe of the Central Business District (CBD), and in a highly urban zone, the Amo Residence condominium is nestled in a HDB heartland estate, at Ang Mo Kio. Moreover it is in close proximity to nature reserves and parks.

The AMO condo showflat has not opened for viewing yet, as the project is still pending final approval from the relevant authorities. It will likely only launch in mid to the 2nd half of 2022. The floor plans are also not ready. The developers are a joint venture of UOL, in partnership with Kheng Leong and Singapore Land Group.
